A Little Bit About Me
👋 Hi, I'm Elaine Cervania. I was born and raised in Manila. As a 90s kid, I enjoyed playing outdoor games. I used to assemble Tamiya, Beyblade, and various other toys for my playmates because I have always enjoyed building things.
🧳 I moved out in 2015 due to the difficulty of navigating the heavy traffic in the metro. It was one of the best decisions of my life. It allowed me to explore and travel more frequently. I learned to cook, do laundry, and experience the joy of purchasing small appliances for the first time.
What I do
👩🏻💻 Currently, I am a Product Designer at Xendit, a role I've held for about four years under one of the Experiment Teams. Before this, I worked at PDAX (1 year) and Voyager (5 years, now Maya or PayMaya). Although I graduated in IT, coding used to stress me out. Fortunately, during my first job at Voyager, they conducted boot camps that introduced me to Product Design. 10 years ago, Product Design was considered relatively "new" in tech companies in the Philippines.

🐈 Most of the time, you'll find me playing with my 5 cats, Luca, Luna, Georgie, Missy, and Shelly!
🚘 I find driving on the expressway therapeutic but due to astigmatism, it's hard for me to drive once the sun sets.
☀️ As a tropical girl, I'm currently on the chase of experiencing snow. Unfortunately, when I went on vacation in Korea, it was just a light snow. Nonetheless, I was ecstatic.
